I'm a freelance advisor, mentor and individual contributor in the field of Software Engineering strategy, management, methods and organisational design.
My knowledge is based on real life experience more than textbooks. I made a lot of decisions over the years, and lived with the consequences myself, and learned a lot from it.
I offer hands on work, advise and second opinions for software product companies, mostly in the areas of software management, technology, engineering and operations, and specifically the strategy, organization, innovation, methods and tech choices involved.
I have successfully built software products and teams for over 25 years, ranging from small startups to global engineering teams with more than 1000 people distributed across the globe. Scaling teams both organically and via acquisitions and integration projects.
With a background as a software engineer combined with an MBA and a genuine interest in people, business and tech I have an holistic and well grounded view on what brings success to software product companies. I have been part of numerous small startups as well as global C level management teams for both private and public companies and can therefore offer what I think is believable advice and guidance backed up by real life experience.
Don't hesitate to reach out to discuss the opportunity or pain-point you would like to address in your software product company or team!
